Sherpa Bucket Hat

A sherpa bucket hat — the winter version of a bucket hat, in thick teddy-fleece pile with a full brim. Warm enough to do the job of a beanie, shaped to keep weather off your face.

Seven colours: Cream, Camel, Mustard, Dusty Rose, Midnight Blue, Charcoal and Black. A hook-and-loop backstrap adjusts the fit.

What is sherpa?

Sherpa is a napped fleece with a deep, curly pile that looks and feels like shearling without being wool. The pile traps warm air, which is why a sherpa hat wears noticeably warmer than a cotton one of the same thickness, and why it stays soft against the forehead instead of turning scratchy.

How it fits

One size, regular fit, adjusted by the backstrap. Sherpa has some give, so it sits without pressure. This wears considerably warmer than the washed cotton buckets — it is a cold-weather hat, not a sun hat.
