Frequently asked questions

What kinds of hats does ProvModa sell?
Sixteen styles across five shapes. Bucket hats, including one with an adjustable chin string and a UPF rated fabric. Flat brim snapbacks in solid colours and two-tone. Trucker caps with mesh backs, in washed vintage cotton and structured foam. Low-profile baseball caps in cotton, washed twill and sherpa fleece. And beanies - plain knit, short-cut fisherman, sherpa and striped with a pom.
Are all ProvModa hats blank and unbranded?
Yes. There is no logo on the front, side or back of any hat in the range. That is the point of the catalogue rather than an omission: it is what makes these usable as blanks for embroidery, patches, team kit and events, and what makes them wearable if you simply do not want to advertise a brand on your head.
Do ProvModa hats come in one size?
Yes, every hat is one size, but they adjust in five different ways. A metal cam buckle on the Classic Baseball Cap, Vintage Twill and Vintage Mesh Trucker. A plastic snapback closure on the flat brim snapbacks and foam truckers. A hook-and-loop backstrap on the Sherpa Baseball Cap and Sherpa Bucket Hat. A chin cord with a sliding toggle on the Wide Brim Washed Cotton String Bucket Hat. And stretch with no closure on all four beanies. One exception: the Vintage Mesh Trucker Cap runs small to medium.
How many colours are available?
It varies widely by style, and the range is unusually deep for a catalogue this size. The Flat Brim Two-Tone Snapback has 67 colour combinations, the Heavy Washed Cotton Bucket Hat 48, the Floppy Wide Brim Frayed Bucket Hat 37, and the Classic Baseball Cap 34. At the other end, the three sherpa items come in 7 each.
Which ProvModa hat is best for hot weather?
A mesh-back trucker moves the most air - the Foam Mesh Trucker Cap or the Vintage Mesh Trucker Cap, where the back panels are open mesh rather than fabric. For sun rather than heat, the Wide Brim Washed Cotton String Bucket Hat is the one to choose: a wide sloping brim, a UPF rated cotton, and a chin cord that keeps it on in wind or on the water.
